These balls are made of a thick-skinned sponge rubber; 4 inches in diameter and weighs approximately 6 ounces. SC balls have been approved for tournament play by the American Polocrosse Association since their introduction in 2017. Balls are currently available in white and orange and can be shipped worldwide when purchased online – simply edit the country after the item has been added to your cart.

The vast majority of USA polocrosse players have previously relied on purchasing balls that have been imported in small quantities from overseas suppliers by resellers stateside.  These balls are often fairly expensive and in short supply over here. In an effort to lower equipment costs, as well as have a large and constant supply for USA players, SC Polocrosse set out to create a new ball that could be purchased in bulk at a reasonable price. After several rounds of prototype balls, the SC Polocrosse Ball was made and arrived in North Carolina in September 2017.

This brand of balls was designed to mimic the rebound of the preferred tournament balls, the Milner brand. This took a few tries to accomplish, since the balls are made of different materials. Milner balls consist of latex sponge rubber with an extra latex covering. The new SC balls are made from polyurethane foam rubber, formed into spheres using a mold. The outer covering is the same material as the inside of the ball.
